Fish Fry At VOL Clubhouse
February 8 - March 21 - Vermilion on the Lake Clubhouse at 3780 Edgewater Blvd in Vermilion is sponsoring a fish fry benefit every Friday, February 8 – March 21. Annual Friends Of Ritter Chocolate Festival

Enter your best chocolate dish in the Friends of Ritter Public Library’s second annual Chocolate Festival and compete to win the title of Chocolate Champion. The American Legion Riders of Vermilion Post 397 will be hosting a Surf & Turf dinner on Saturday, February 16th from 5 pm to 8 pm. Dinner includes steak and crab legs. Cost is $20.00 per person. Boy Scout Troop 409 Spaghetti Benefit
February 17 - Boy Scout Troop 409 will hold a Spaghetti Benefit on February 17 from 1 pm to 5 pm at VFW on Poorman Road in Vermilion. Due to a sudden illness, a local family needs assistance. MAD Factory "The BFG, Big Friendly Giant"
February 22 - 7 pm - 8:30 pm - The MAD Factory of Oberlin will be bringing their Lorain County students (ages 13+) to present an adaptation of Roald Dahl's book "The BFG." The play will be appropriate for all ages and will include puppets! The MAD Factory is a local organization that provides classes and summer camps for at-risk youth and youth in the area who are interested in becoming more involved with the arts. They offer numerous scholarships each year so that their programs are readily accessible to all those interested. Beatlemania In Vermilion
February 26 - The Beatles in Cleveland: Memories, Facts & Photos About the Cleveland Concerts takes place at Ritter Public Library on February 26 from 7 pm to 8 pm. Relive the excitement of Beatlemania as John, Paul, George, and Ringo visit Cleveland for two of the wildest, out-of-control concerts in Beatles and rock 'n roll history. Author Dave Schwensen will discuss researching and writing his book, uncovering never-before-published photos of The Fab Four, and interviews with opening acts, promoters, and legendary Cleveland personalities, such as Jerry G., Big Jack Armstrong, Jane Scott, and others.
