November 1 - Vermilion Fire Department Social Club will offer a Steak Fry from 6 pm to 11:00 pm at AMVETS Post # 22 on Saturday, November 1st.

Annual Harbour Town 1837 Christmas Walk
November 28 - 30 - Kick-off the holiday season with an old fashion alternative to the usual hectic holiday shopping. Tour Vermilion's historic downtown Harbour Town by horse-drawn trolley from noon to 5 pm. Santa arrives at Exchange Park by icebreaker on the Vermilion River at 11 am on Saturday. Visit the fine shops, restaurants and businesses for special holiday savings. Watch the parks light up with OPERATION Twinkle's holiday light display while luminaries line the streets each night. Experience the lovely Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Gazebo in Victory Park on Saturday at 7 pm. Visit Santa in his house in Exchange Park 11 am to 3 pm each Saturday through Christmas. It's a nostalgic, family fun experience you won't want to miss. Sponsored by the Friends Of Harbour Town.

Operation Twinkle
November through January - Operation Twinkles lights up Vermilion's holiday season with festive lights and animated decorations. Exchange Park, overlooking the Vermilion River in historic Harbour Town, will be decorated with a nostalgic collection of figures inspired by historic Christmas light decorations of the 1950's. Holiday Art Show
November 29 - December 23. The Arts Guild of Vermilion, a committee of Main Street Vermilion, hosts this don't-miss Holiday Art Show each year on the weekends of November 24 through December 23. Local artists offer a variety of mediums at the Main Street building in downtown Vermilion just in time for holiday shopping. Located at 685 Main Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. Annual Lecture Series
Fall - Every spring and fall, The Great Lakes Historical Society presents its Annual Lecture Series. Each series features six lectures on various aspects of the Great Lakes and their history. Lectures are always free and open to the public! Lectures typically begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at the Inland Seas Maritime Museum in downtown Vermilion, Ohio.
