Vermilion's Own Honored At Annual Awards Ceremony
The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce Business Recognition/Community Services Awards dinner was held on Saturday, February 23 at Germans Villa. Area businesses, organizations and individuals were honored for their outstanding achievements in the Vermilion community.
Gary Mortus, Chairman of the Board, welcomed guests, followed by an invocation by Reverand Louis Bertoni. Mayor Jean Anderson congratulated the award recipients for their efforts in building and improving our community.
Heather Shirley, Chris Tomshack, Bruce Keller and Louise Woehrle presented the awards.
Reverend Louis Bertoni and Maureen (Moe) Coe were honored with the prestigious Anchor Award for their years of devoted dedication to the community.
For their hard work and outstanding achievements in 2007, making Vermilion an even better place to drop anchor, the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce congratulates the following award recipients.
