Super Search Continues
Superintendent Bruce Keller will be retiring on December 31, 2008 after 17 years serving the Vermilion Schools. Our best wishes go to Bruce, Pat and family as they plan for this next phase of their lives.
The Board of Education is keenly aware that finding the right leader to assist the district in meeting the challenges of the future is critical. After meeting with firms that provide administrative search services, Finding Leaders was designated to assist us in the process.
Finding Leaders has considerable experience in helping to define the type of candidate that individual communities need by using research as well as involvement of the community and staff. Current plans are to have a candidate on board to start in the fall. This will allow appropriate transition time prior to December 31.
