Another Fatal Crash On Liberty
Vermilion Police investigated yet another fatal crash on Liberty Avenue early Thursday morning. The accident occurred around 2 am near Overlook Drive.
Samuel Markman, 60, of Wakeman lost control of his vehicle and went off the right side of the road hitting three utility poles. Damage to the vehicle was severe, resulting in Markman being cut from the wreckage.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident knocked out electricity to parts of the area.
The investigation is ongoing.
