Alpaca Open House
Looking for something to do that is not a gas guzzling trip? Alpha Omega Alpacas, Lands End Alpacas, Angel & The Albatros and Our Little World Alpacas have scheduled an Alpaca Open House on May 17th from 9 am to 4 pm at 14500 Darrow Road in Vermilion.
The event will feature alpaca fiber spinning demonstrations, alpaca products, personal tours of the farm and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Best of all, visitors will have a chance to actually touch the alpacas and experience their friendliness.
The highlight of this time of year is the birth of babies. Several babies have been born on the farm this spring and an anticipated 25 more babies will be birthed this year. Perhaps a baby or two will be born May 17th!
A scheduled alpaca shearing will occur on May 19th.
Alpha Omega Alpacas currently features 60 alpacas of various colors and ages.
