Angels For Angela
Single mother, 38-year old Elyria resident, Angela Lascola is battling breast cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes. The irony that her life’s work is collecting platelets to save the lives of cancer and leukemia patients is not wasted on those who know and love her.
Although she is enduring chemotherapy, she still summons her strength and courage to continue working at LifeShare’s Middleburg Heights facility to make ends meet.
To help lessen her considerable burden, Angela’s friends and coworkers are sponsoring a Spaghetti Dinner Benefit at the Elyria Moose Family Center (555 Ternes Avenue in Elyria) on Sunday, June 1, from 1 pm to 6 pm. Tickets are $10.
Dinner includes spaghetti with meatballs, salad, roll,
refreshment and dessert. Food Drive - please bring a nonperishable food item for Second Harvest Food Bank. Raffles & 50/50 drawings.
