Encouraged To Participate In Citywide Tag Sales
Main Street Vermilion is inviting Vermilion residents to take part in this year's Citywide Tag Sales on the Second Saturday of each month in June, July and August. Vermilion residents are encouraged to offer yards sales, merchants to offer sidewalk sales and area organizations to offer tag sales. The citywide events will take place from 9 am to 4 pm June 14, July 12 and August 9.
A public auction follows each event at Millet Auction House.
Area churches are encouraged to offer rummage sales for charity on the same dates.
After the Tag Sales, Millet Auction House in Harbour Town will hold public auctions starting at 5 pm. Millet Auction House is located at 728 Main Street.
The July and August Citywide Tag Sales will also include Main Street Vermilion's Local Market at Victory Park. The local market will offer home-grown fruit, vegetables, herbs, fresh flowers, local meat, cheese and other goodies. Local artists will also showcase and sell their work. The Local Market will be held from 2 pm to 6 pm. To participate in the market contact Sandy Kish Jordan at 440-967-6446.
