Operation Twinkle

OPERATION Twinkle* is a project of Main Street Vermilion, lighting up Vermilion's holiday season with festive lights and animated decorations. The parks will be decorated with a nostalgic collection of figures inspired by historic Christmas light decorations of the 1950's - the beginning of outdoor holiday light displays.
Through fundraising efforts and donations, OPERATION Twinkle* decorates Vermilion area parks and public spaces with a variety of entertaining holiday light displays each year - November through January.
For the 2006/2007 Winter Season, OPERATION Twinkle* decorated Exchange Park in downtown Vermilion with a "Santa's Toyland" theme.
The 2007/2008 Winter Season will see additional collections added to Excange Park. In 2008/2009, "Gingerbread Village" will make its debut, followed by "Penguin Playland".
As additional funds become available, OPERATION Twinkle* will continue to decorate public spaces throughout the entire Greater Vermilion, Ohio area.
