About River Bend Stitchery
River Bend Stitchery is a cross stitch store and more in Vermilion, Ohio on beautiful Lake Erie. Established in 2004, River Bend Stitchery provides stitchers at all levels and ages with the needlework supplies needed to pursue this fun craft. In addition to basic supplies, our boutique concept brings unique designers and local and exclusive charts to stitchers looking for something new and different. Beginning cross-stitch, counted thread and punchneedle classes are available.
Owner Linda Tallitsch and her friendly, experienced staff look forward to helping you find just the right pattern, threads and fabric for your project. We hope you enjoy learning more about our shop and will contact us or visit the store soon.

Moving & Growing
In 2004, when owner Linda Tallitsch decided to open her specialty shop, she visualized a shop with not only the basic supplies needed by cross stitchers, but also different and unique designers and designer items. That is how our boutique concept was born.
After 2 years River Bend Stitchery outgrew the downtown Vermilion location. The new location is at 15008 Holiday Drive, Suite C. It is south of downtown Vermilion and Rt.2. Exit Rt.2 at Rt.60 and go south. Immediately you will see the Vermilion Holiday Inn Express. Turn onto Holiday Drive (as if you are going to the Holiday Inn Express), and you will see a small office building just to the west of the inn.
Satelite Store
River Bend Stitchery is now offering our unique inventory of patterns, hand-dyed fabrics and specialty items as well as basic fabrics and DMC threads at Sew Little Time, Ltd, a quilting supply store in downtown Norwalk, Ohio. Sew Little Time has told us of the huge demand for cross stitch supplies in the Norwalk area, a city about 25 minutes south of Vermilion, our home location.

PunchNeedle is Here! There are so many easy and fun patterns out now that we had to get involved! We now have punchneedle supplies, patterns and kits. Of course, we also offer free lessons to get you started. Please check this site or call for details.
Local Interests
River Bend Stitchery has many boating, lighthouse and local interest charts and supplies. Oberlin Samplers grace the walls with beautiful models of their local lighthouse, landmark, and boating and sailing patterns. Exclusively designed charts for Vermilion are also available.
2007 NorthCoast Tour de Stitch
Friday, October 5th through Sunday, October 14th 2007 - The NorthCoast Tour de Stitch is a unique "shop-hop" across Northern Ohio featuring the finest quality needlework shops. 2007 will be the 7th year for this fun event. Trunk shows, gifts and drawings for gift baskets will be at each shop. The $5.00 tickets will go on sale September 1st. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
